Food was absolutely terrible. Everything was bland and tasteless. I had the cod meal. They did not clean the fish before cooking it. Which in turn made it very fishy. Fries felt like you was eating hockey pucks. And the Cole slaw tasted sour. Tartar sauce was absolutely horrible. Ended up telling my mother I could have gotten better fish at McDonald's and theirs ain't that great. Also if you come here don't expect good service. We was the only table in there for about 20 minutes and we had to ask for refills.
Really great service 4/9/22! We have never been here and came through with our kids. The food was good and as expected from a local bar. The chicken drummies were great 😊 We also really liked the boneless wings and the beers on tap.
Darb's is always an easy-going place to get a meal and a drink, and has been a Mason mainstay forever. It's reliable and comfortable. The menu consists of the expected bar fare, but is regularly supplemented with homemade selections. I recently had homemade chocolate peanut butter pie and it was delicious! Service is always friendly, and the drink menu is what I'd call 'safe', with something for everyone.
