See All Reviewsservice was amazing however, the restaurant is really a bar/ tavern because that’s what it is. It’s really popular so as a result, the place was very busy. That being said the wait staff were amazing The food was great, the fries were crisp delicious. The chicken sandwich was something else! Complements to the chef. The place has really grown over time. Would recommend it to anyone in the area. Ask about the fancy bread. You won’t regret it.
The food was awesome! We ordered a smashed burger and a fried North Atlantic cod sandwich which both had generous portions and we chose the bistro salad as our side instead of fries and it was fresh, healthy, and delicious! Both bartenders were very friendly and attentive!! It was a Friday night, and the other customers were a happy and lively assortment, a handful of whom seem to be regulars. A larger group use the outdoor patio to enjoy the lovely spring weather (I think you need to come inside to get food and drinks when it’s busy). We will definitely be back!
Stayed at the Best Western that Deacon’s Pub is in the same building, we initially went to have a drink then go somewhere for dinner, But while enjoying our drink other people had food brought out and it looked good so my wife and I decided to eat there as well, glad we did I had an excellent smash burger and my wife had a small Caesar salad with grilled chicken she also thought it was very good, the bartender was good guy and everyone at the bar were chatting about sports teams and their home towns, nice little pub!!!
