7 months agoStaff did not seem to want to wait on us. Food was lukewarm warm and the $26 double martini was mini and improperly prepared. We wanted to get some napkins and a cup of water, but were ignored until I paid with my credit card. Suggest you pass by and find a better experience.

a year agoSwindlers. They advertise their tacos as $16.99 but charge extra for meat. Just say up-front what the ultimate price will be! There was only one person working there. Despite clearly being overworked and mistreated, she was kind and did explain the situation. So, this is clearly an issue with the shady owners who understaff and overcharge deceptively. The food itself isn't bad. They just need to fix their pricing so it's not misleading.

a year agoI had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The price at the register was much higher than what was advertised, and when I brought it up, the cashier just said that’s what her system told her. It felt like I was being cheated. The food and service were both mediocre, and there was only one person working, which made everything slow. I wouldn’t recommend stopping here. I took a picture of the receipt and the TV with pricing. Also, the sides are advertised as 2 cups for $5.49 but they charged me $6.49 for one cup that had half rice and half beans. What a joke this place is!

2 years agoIt was not busy at all. 1900 was the time on 3/22. I sat in the corner since the high areas were taken. About half way through a lady tending to the bar patrons says "ma'am, I hope your not too comfortable, that is for handicap people." 2 other patrons say..."there are no handicap people, but we're sure you'd get up." I look around and the place is empty. Not a sign in the entire place for handicap people. I get up, pick up my meal and sit somewhere else. Here is the picture of the handicap area. I honestly feel like the lady was unprofessional and targeting me. She created an unpleasant environment. The food was not good and when this happened, I wanted to regurgitate everything. 20$ for 1 scoop of rice and all sides are in plastic minicups prepackaged the size of a spoon. Chips left grease streaks on the bag.

3 years agoHorrible place. The lines were slow. The service is some of the worst I’ve ever had. The food was disgusting. They have a lady who, I’m guessing, her sole job is to yell your name loudly, rudely and repeatedly once your order is read. Seriously. My order was ready, she called Jason, made eye contact with me. I waved and said that it was me and I was coming. She immediately started calling “jasonjasonJASONjasonjasonJASON!jason” until I got to the counter. Then the just shoved my food at me. She did that with everyone. She also got upset because I pointed out I was missing half my order. Tried making it my fault that she didnt give it to me. The food looked good. Except the chips. Which are burned. When I said something she said that is how they are and if I wanted a refund I could get back in the long line. It all was nasty. Tasted old. The corn tortillas were not heated. Just straight from the pack so they fell apart. Airport food is a hit and a miss sometimes. This place is by far the worse. They are lucky most of the places in Midway are not open or they wouldn’t make it.

3 years agoAlways a delicious meal coming from a real restaurant in Chicago!! If you have a chance to try them in the airport they're one of the least expensive most delicious meals! Seriously walk by a bunch of other stuff and go straight here. Terminal A has several options, and if you're in the mood for delicious Mexican food give it a try! If you're outside of the airport definitely put their brick and mortar restaurant on your list, same name! It was mentioned in the Michelin guide and one of the best restaurants in Chicago magazine, I hope they bring more of the restaurant food to the airport!!! You can't go wrong with the burrito, tacos or quesadilla. I had one thing to say the day I stopped through the airport they were out of white onion and had red onion for the tacos, odd but better than nothing!

4 years agoThe service here is with a grumpy, irritated, bad attitude. All the young girls talked about during ordering was when their shift was ending. The people at bar looked happy with their drinks and chips. $14.00+ for a NON chipotle flavored burrito that is not good is outrageous. Dried chicken, floppy tortillas that falls apart, dried rice, beans were good. The first young lady big negative mood and does not know how to roll a burrito. She rolled her eyes better than she did the burrito. Professional eye roller should learn to roll a burrito with the same intent and purpose she perfects her eye roll. The second lady did horrible as well. These lack luster professionals need burrito rolling training class. I was so hungry from a long flight from San Jose, I ate what I could and dumped the rest. Negative energy, bad attitudes, and not knowing your customer are lacking. Yuck!

4 years agoDefinitely NOT authentic. Overpriced food, not much portions, and the food wasnt good at all. We only ate it because it cost over $20. Rice is not real Spanish rice. The tacos are children sizes. The guac was two half scoops (the container is the size you put ketchup in at McDonald's) and the bag of chips is the size you get your bagel in.
