We were tourists just driving around checking places out. While on 78 traveling East, it started raining so bad, I decided to get off the highway to see where we were and what was around. I spotted this restaurant right of the exit, so we got out of the rain and went in to have dinner. We are so glad we did. My wife and I both thought the food was excellent, the service was also excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. The waitress was very kind and fast. I can't be certain, but it may have been Tracy. If we are ever back in the area, we will definitely stop again. The only negative was some guys yelling too much at the bar carried over into the dining area, but it just reminded us of our local pub back home which has a similar setup. I would recommending stopping to try them out.
I am truck driver who suddenly found himself without a load for tonight and parked nearby. Walked over here late at night before they closed and they welcomed me in generously! Great food. Great service. Made me feel welcome even coming in before closing.
I was disappointed in the food. I got the shrimp Alfredo and a cup of lobster bisque. The shrimp was generous, 8 good sized shrimp and not overcooked, but both the Alfredo sauce and the soup were really thin and lacking in flavor. Service was excellent, and the half-full restaurant wasn't noisy, but the dishes I had were embarrassingly poor and shouldn't be on the menu in their current state.
