See All ReviewsThe food was awesome. I ordered the paneer vindaloo, aloo parantha and onion pakoda. The flavor was great. The service size was enough to feed 2 people. I will most definitely be back.
I would have given -5 if I could. Okay, I come to this place almost everyday. Once in a while I order from the menu otherwise it is just chai and some snacks. I deleted a review for this place before(after the employee said she corrected a mistake). It was related to hygiene. She touched wet floor caution boards used across the restaurant and immediately served food with the same hands. Here is my experience for the last four orders: 1. Idly. Stale. Literally dried up idly heated up and served. Too stale it cannot be ignored 2. Paneer Pulao, chicken curry: I specifically told I wanted them to be spicy. Both of them were as sweet as sugar, I had to throw them off. Not sure why so much sugar was added to it 3. Puri. They said the aloo curry wasn’t available. They had chole. When I received it, it was super salty. I returned it. They repaired the defiled food. 🤷🏻♂️ I got the same food with more chole init. It was still salty. I’ve been in the restaurant industry for 4 years now. Never did I see someone repairing a defiled food. It is supposed to be trashed and remade. Irony, This was their first order of that day. I trashed the curry and ate with a peanut chutney. Not sure again why so much salt was added to it. 4. Vijaywada Biryani. Dried up chicken in the biryani. Biryani doesn’t even look like biryani, it looks like pulao. I am not sure what the difference is anymore. Masala rice that looks brownish vs no masala rice that looks greyish? I don’t get it, where is the plain rice in biryani gone? I did ask if this is biryani, front employee didn’t bother to check. Sugar and salty taste wasn’t a palette problem. It literally was sugar and salty. Anybody would have said the same. My friend who tasted did too. It seemed targeted for my previous deleted review because biryani was ordered while showing them someone who was actually having it in the restaurant. Their biryani was different from mine. If it’s not targeted, repeated failure to cater hygienic and properly cooked food is a problem here. I will still be visiting this place for the chai but never will be ordering food. 4 times is a habit to them. It’s not the front facing employees at fault. Poor training. Also chefs usually reject unhygienic methods. Unless there is no authentic chef. 🙏🏼
They charged me $3.29 for each bread/Naan total $10.68 for 3. And its not even worth a dime bread/naan were burned and and properly cooked and dry garlic in middle like nothing. Do not recommend at all
