Warm, inviting, casual dinning atmosphere. Service was amazing and friendly. They have a very limited menu, but everything was well prepared and tasty . I ordered the veggies lentil with gome and tibs salad Injera. My serve said the veggies lentil is the most popular order and she was right. It was so delicious, especially the red lentil, we had to order an extra side dish. I didn’t like the tibs as much as the veggie lentils because it was kinda spicy and a bit chewy for my liking. The berebere wings with sauce on the side was really yummy that I almost ordered the second dish. I”ll definitely come back!!!
From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that feels like a home away from home. The earthy decor, the traditional music playing softly in the background, and the aroma of spices set the stage for an exceptional meal.
Amazing Ethiopian food! Great DJ and music. If you love Afrobeats this is for you!
If you’ve never tried Ethiopian food before this spot is a must try!You will not be disappointed. Food was great, service was phenomenal and the environment felt like home away from home.
Stopped by this restaurant on a whim. It was well worth it. The food was delicious and service was great.
A very nice place for Ethiopian food. The owner is very friendly and the food is very good. A place to go if you want to experience Ethiopian food in St. Louis.
I discovered this place at the “Festival of Nations” last year and was immediately blown away. Discovered when searching for them, that they were close to me! Finally got the chance to try it, for takeout a few months ago. I ate it so quickly I didn’t get a chance to take a photo! Went there again recently and remembered to snap a photo. Their sambusa is really good. The dried spices that come with it are just as good, and have a little kick to them. Get them! Got the chicken tibbs and lamb (kelwa begged). It’s authentic, delicious, and LARGE portions! Merhaba will now forever be on my list of go to places in U-City. If you haven’t been here, take the risk and go; you won’t be disappointed!
The food is absolutely amazing!! Full of flavor. My favorite ethnic restaurant in STL area. The food is cooked to order so be prepared to wait atleast 25 minutes for your food. We always get the sambusas and lentil soup as an appetizer to hold us over. Vegan friendly. The owner is awesome, we have become very friendly with him! We have the jukebox bumpin tunes every time. HIGHLY RECOMMEND 😋
