See All ReviewsFood is good comfort food, but Prices are high compared to previous location*. 2.49 for a 12oz can of Faygo (no refills). 1.99 for a 1oz bag of plain Better Made chips. 4.99 for cheese chili fries. I hope prices come down. Music is nice and loud. Playing good Motown soul. Update to Re: Owner- * Thank you for pointing that out. correct that drink prices are the same as the previous location BUT it use to include refills. Also, the feeling of a sit down restaurant at the old location versus a “corner store”, self-service at the new location makes it feel like the prices do not fit.
First time in, never had any Coney Island hot dogs before. This place was pretty good, reasonably priced and service was good. I think they should have hot dogs that come as a meal with fries and or more than 1 hot dog or like a sampler option.
After doing some shopping, I decided I was hungry for some food from my birthplace... Detroit! I stopped in to Detroit Coney Island in Palm Harbor. I've eaten here often and everything I've ever ordered has been delicious! I ordered a Detroit coney dog, a kraut dog, crispy fries and a draft beer. I was so hungry I ate everything and forgot to leave room for the most amazing dessert...a Sanders hot fudge cream puff! Next time for sure! Food...delish, service...great and with a smile...ambience...well, let's just say it's a stroll through my childhood in Detroit! I left feeling happy, happy!
