This place is legit. We tried the BBQ chicken, jerk chicken, fried shrimp, macaroni pie, fried rice, chow mein, and macaroni salad and not a single thing missed. Everything was packed with flavor and tasted super authentic. And let me tell you about the sauces… shado beni, garlic, BBQ, peppa, and tamarind — all ridiculous. Like, put-it-on-everything good. The owners are incredibly nice and welcoming, which just makes the whole experience even better. Honestly, this food tastes exactly like what I eat when I’m in Trinidad visiting my wife’s family. If you’re in the Tampa Bay Area and want real Trinidadian BBQ, don’t sleep on this spot. We’ll 100% be back.
It’s a must try great taste flavor not what I was expecting from a food cart but I will be returning !!!!
