Edited 2 months agoUPDATE: Unfortunately this restaurant is now closed and has become a bar we will try at a later date. We stopped into DJ’s Restaurant on a Saturday morning and were blown away by how good everything was. We had eggs Benedict, a fresh blueberry waffle, biscuits and gravy, and eggs with sausage patties. Every single thing was fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. The coffee was great too, and our server couldn’t have been more attentive or enjoyable to talk with. The restaurant was spotless and had such a comfortable, beachside-town feel. You can tell it’s been part of the community for a long time, and it’s got that classic local charm that’s hard to find anymore. We live nearby and can’t believe we waited this long to try it. My only small suggestion would be to open up the outdoor umbrellas when they’re open if the weather’s nice because it would make the place look even more inviting. Probably the best breakfast we’ve had in Boynton Beach. Highly recommended and we’ll definitely be making it our new Saturday breakfast spot.

6 months agoIt was OK. They really need to fix the numerous roof leaks. The stained ceiling tiles are not a good look.

Edited 9 months agoUpdate: Food is still amazing and service is great. However, they now have an "egg surcharge" due to the costs of eggs. I understand the cost of business changes and prices change. However the time to inform the customer of an added charge is BEFORE putting their order in. Not after theyve finished their meal by giving them their receipt.. hidden prices will never be ok with me. Be up front and honest. 45 bucks plus tip for two basic breakfast plates with a side of corn beef hash and hash browns. After reading the reviews, I was shocked to see someone call this place and it's staff rude... Patty, the women serving us made our dining experience AMAZING... Polite, sweet, QUICK and attentive. Not once didni have to ask for a refill or ask for our table to be cleared. Instantly offered us our seats, took our drinks and brought them out immediately. Took our order and food was out within 10-15 minutes. Hot, fresh and delicious. Honestly, some of the best bacon I have had in a LONG time... The service, some of the best service I've had in Boynton Beach. The biscuits and gravy, 🔥🔥🔥!!! Do not hesitate to give these folks your business and stuff your bellies!!

11 months agoI was born and raised in this area and I am also in the food industry. I NEVER do reviews, but my experience at DJ'S today for breakfast was above and beyond. My husband and I walked in and it was like walking into your Momma's kitchen with such love. We are southerners so we appreciate the "hunny, baby, my darling" dialect. Julie was the sweetest most inviting woman as soon as we walked in. To watch her greet all the guests that walked in that she knew by name, asking about their families showed she has known all these patrons for years and actually cares for you them like her own. She told us how they have been here for 50 years and her brother, and nephew and many others of her family works there as well. Unbelievable food! We got biscuits and gravy which was to die for. Can't wait to come back and so happy that there are still establishments like this that exist! God bless this beautiful family and amazing restaurant!!!! Love love LOVE!

a year agoAs soon as we entered the diner, we were warmly greeted. The ladies serving us were polite and attentive, making us feel right at home. My Western Omelet was delicious, and the home fries were perfectly cooked—not greasy like in some other places. However, the only downside was my husband’s country fried chicken, was too salty. All in all, it was a pleasant dining experience.

6 years agoOmg just had breakfast at DJ's Grill the food here is amazing. Who the hell is cooking back there food needed no seasoning everything was well seasoned straight from the kitchen. This is my new breakfast spot when I am in town.😍😍😍

6 years agoFabulous chicken and waffle, which was stuffed with chives and bacon! Pretty good corned beef hash too. Very friendly server :) glad we stopped in on our way home from a mini vacation
