Our family has loved going to Doc's Diner for years. They have great portion sizes for great prices. My kids (and I) are constantly begging to go for breakfast on weekends and any days they have off of school.
They claim to have the best biscuits and gravy or your money back. These are nowhere near the best visit's gravy.I ever had. Not even close. Also ordered eggs over easy. One of them, the yoke was broke. And cooked all the way through. And the hash browns kind of sucked. I definitely won't go back there i'll drive past there go straight to neli's in s Beloit
Went for the first time with my daughter and it was a good experience. The portions were nice sized for the price and very good food.
Betsy and Krissy were amazing my first time here and will come back!! COMPLEMENTS TO RON
First time eating at Docs. Service was excellent. Coffee was kept full my entire visit. I had the Bacon/Cheese omelet with hashbrowns and toast. Large amount of bacon in the omelet. Perfectly cooked and hot. Nice, friendly environment. Will definitely be returning soon! Large menu selection for breakfast and lunch.
OMG!!! what a fabulous little dinner! I stopped in for breakfast and on the special board was "stuffed biscuits and gravy" (I added a photo) a large homemade biscuit sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwich smothered with some amazing sausage gravy with either hash browns or American fries. Got there about 45 minutes prior to closing (1 pm) time, I asked our waitress about the stuffed biscuits and gravy and when she described it she said if you look toward the window where the food is placed from the kitchen and she said mine is sitting right there. I'm just getting ready to sit out and have the same thing. I highly recommend it. Boy was she on point. The staff was all friendly. Service was incredible. Food was incredible. Definitely recommend if in Rockford, Illinois or more Love's Park area. Definitely a must stop and be prepared. It's a popular place but the food is amazing.
This diner is so awesome! It's 50's themed and has alot of 50's wall art ect the servers were very nice and you can tell it's a joint filled with regulars! We got the 2x2x2 and the sasuage omelet w/taters and the portions were huge! The food was creamy hot and fresh as well and all this only cost about 15$ so it's very affordable for 2 people! I highly recommend this place :)
Home of one of the finest patty melts in the land, this fabulously retro establishment really is the quintessential American diner! The servers are very friendly and efficient. Your cup of coffee will never get cold here!
