Excellent Mexican food in El Paso. Their green salsa verde was one of the best I have ever tasted.
Unfortunately, I was not impressed. The food lacked flavor, but the chips were at least good. I didn’t really have any interaction with the staff other than when the waiter took our order - brotha seemed like a robot. Seems to be a popular place for community get togethers though!
This place was close to our hotel, and the family needed to eat, but didn’t have the energy for getting back in the car in a strange town. My father-in-law had the beef enchiladas with red sauce. I tasted it… delicious, very mild… I couldn’t discern what chilies they used… quite red in color, maybe paprika?. My mother in-law & I had the gorditas…. Corn batter- excellent- spiced up to taste by the table chilies & salsa. My husband had the chicken enchiladas with green sauce, and at my request put mole on one… the green chili sauce was very tasty…. Chunky roasted green chilies…. Wow- that mole might have been the best I’ve ever had…. Is there cardamom in your recipe? Wow- it just works. YUM!
