See All ReviewsFood was delicious I wanted pernil but they didn't have any I don't know if they ran out or they have different choices everyday. The kids loved the macaroni salad. Their serving size is very generous. The staff was very polite
If you’re from NYC (not just NYC, from anywhere, but my NYers know what’s up) — this is THE legit Dominican cuisine spot! Yes, theres DELICIOUS mangu con todos los golpes, yuca, chicharonnes, pastellitos, arroz blanco con habichuelas, rice-and-beans, baked chicken, oxtails, fish, chuletas, sancocho, Mama Juana, Morir Soñando, etc. You name it, they practically got it all! They never ever disappoint — food is fresh and hot, great customer service, and they accept most forms of payment including cash, debit, and credit cards. Dominican Grocery & Deli is beautiful, clean, and well-kept. They even have a mini Dominican market towards the back where you’ll find various cleaning supplies/ products, soaps, snacks, herbs, drinks, desserts, etc. Theres a restaurant inside for you to sit, eat, and enjoy the vibes. Gotta check out Dominican Grocery & Deli. You’ll love it! ❤️👌🏽
This was seriously overpriced for what it was. A meal like this would go for about $12 in the NYC/NJ area, plus a Coke. I was charged $20. Then the lady had the nerve to ask if I wanted to leave a tip. As someone who enjoys Dominican food wherever I go, this felt like highway robbery. The food was average at best, maybe a 5 out of 10. I won’t be coming back next time I’m in Houston.
