Have been here to eat many times Ben is the owner and an awesome person. Food is outstanding and a 5 dollar chicken plate you can’t beat that. I highly recommend this place if you are in Weslaco.

Don Benjas Mesquite Grill is a hidden treasure in Weslaco that is worth finding (BBQ trailer is parked next to the Stripes on Border Ave and Business 83). We had the Carnivore plate (Brisket, Pork Ribs, Chicken and Sausage) and it was delicious. The food had terrific flavor and is an incredible value for the price. The owner is very friendly who takes great pride in his craft. Give them a try; you won’t regret it.
