We went in and is was relatively slow, it was one large table and us seated. We sat down, the waiter checked on us once and never again, we tried to get assistance but blatantly ignored. I had to stop a waiter by placing my hand in front of them to get their attention then we were helped. Very poor service 👎👎🙅
The service was so incredibly awful. My group and i sat for an hour before our food came while other groups sat down, ordered, ate, and paid. the servers were talking to customers and were in no hurry to give food service. food was good, but didn’t feel like the experience was worth it at all. no one seemed to care.
If I could give a 0 STARS I would this place is a complete and utter trash box. Tonight my friend and I(we are both women BTW) were followed and harassed. We walked out on our check(our sever was made aware prior to leaving). Our food came out within 10 mins red flag number one, I ordered a mango margarita and it wasn’t even mixed the first sip was pure mango concentrate(yuck), my quesadilla was nothing but meat. My rice and refried beans were also cold it was evident that our food had been zapped in the microwave. I let my server know that my friend and I did not want my food and I was trying to run over to Penn Station real quick so I could have a meal she said “okay no problem”. My friend followed shortly after and met me in penn station. As we were getting ready to leave a Hispanic man barged into the restaurant and began harassing my friend accusing her of walking out on her bill. It very much gave a broke restaurant owner trying to “punk” you for your lunch money. After repeating telling him that we will not be paying the bill and we let our server know he continued to harass us, and as we were trying to leave penn station, he followed us out and proceeded to stand by the crosswalk and watched us all the way until we were out of sight. Please, if you are to go anywhere, do not go to Don Juan. They are obviously a failing restaurant, and instead of being considerate of our experience, we were harassed.
