My aunt ordered her Thanksgiving dinner from them and when she arrived to pick up her order the front door was padlock on Thanksgiving day so she went around the back door and the guy said they was closed due to the lights was cut off they gave her the food and everything was disgusting the ribs had no barbecue sauce the macaroni and cheese barely had cheese in it the collard greens had to much sugar in them the stuffing was to sweet and dry the pig feet wasn't fully done all that for $375 our Thanksgiving was ruined by dons please don't ever order any food from them for any of your gatherings you will be disappointed do better dons and they phone is off we been calling trying to get some of our money back just sad don't do it people very disappointed and disgusted.
Tonight my husband and I went to Dons Diner to get 2 pieces of cake. We walked in, & the waitress was behind the register texting on her phone. My husband & I said hi and she didn't respond at all. She glanced at us then looked elsewhere. The diner has pretty good cake, so we chose to stay. We sat down, & the waitress..using hand gestures asked what do we want. We ordered the cakes as she disappointedly asked if we were staying. The waitress brought the cakes to us without attempting to ask if we wanted anything to drink..or anything at all for that matter. She was on the phone texting the entire time we dined in. Her nasty attitude spoke volumes. I ordered chocolate cake & my husband chose the carrot cake. She never once checked on us. That's not the kind of people you need to work in your establishment.. I won't go back there again. She's waited on us in the past & was fairly friendly. For future customers, she's the older lady whom walks with a limp. Overall, a very bad experience because of this waitress.
Food was delicious … :) got me a western omelette with no mushrooms and grits with a side order of toast . First bite and all was out of this world …
