4 months agoStopped here for lunch, the food was great for the most part. Highly recommend the broccoli cheddar bites! The coleslaw was rather bland and bitter tho. Chicken strips and onion rings were good. The fries were cold. Was slightly disappointed that gravy wasn't included with the chicken strip box.

8 months agoWas by far worse dairy bar ive experienced it used be good but fir $15 I should have gotten full the onion rings were so hard couldn't be eat and the burger was a patty.. NEVER again will I waste a penny herd.. Dairy Cheer down road and puts this place to shame

a year agoDorsies is a well known & beloved local landmark that serves exactly the types of food that it looks like it would 🍔Burgers🍔 🍟crinkly fries 🍟 & ranch/home/steak fries🍟 🌭footlong hotdogs🌭 ♥️ milkshakes🥛, 🍦Custard ice-cream cones🍦,🍨sundaes🍨, even old school, OG, traditional & gratefully overloaded 🍌BANANA SPLITS🍌 p.s. coleslaw slays

Edited a year agoI stopped while working in Pikeville. I got a cheeseburger box. The burger and fries were delicious. The coleslaw was kind of bland.

Edited 2 years agoI've been to countless mom and pop restaurants all over the country, and few ever get 5 stars from me, but Dorsie's is a rare gem. No frills, just straight forward good comfort food, like your mom or grandma made for you, when you were not in the best mood and needed a pick-me-up. Ordered a cheeseburger with the works, onion rings, and a Pepsi, was not let down in the slightest. If I ever come back to Pikeville, I will most definitely be coming back, my only regret, is that I went to Dorsie"s my last day here. 5⭐

4 years agoStaff was friendly, food was awesome and reasonably priced. As we ate we noted that the staff was really taking good care of the cooking area, cleaning and maintaining. we were actually pretty impressed by their diligence to maintain a clean space despite being very busy. So props to those ladies! I don't know their names but am giving the staff my best 👍. Great Job, thanks for the service!
