a week agoplaced an order to-go for 2 chicken enchiladas with rice. gave me 1 beef enchilada with no rice. asked to have it corrected. gave me one cold chicken enchilada with rice. very disappointed.

2 months agoFood is always good. Service gets you to a table pretty quickly. My family and I usually eat there every Sunday after church. I recommend giving this restaurant a try!

Edited 7 months agoI stopped by on Wednesday to request donations for the school basketball team & decided to grab lunch. I came back today to receive the donation & decided to sit at the bar & grab a margarita (or 2 lol) and ended up meeting the owners. They were super nice, friendly and down to earth guys!! Glad I got the pleasure of having a conversation with such humble people ❤️ And the manager is awesome also!

11 months agoIt was not up to par on our last visit. Service was slow and they were not busy. It is usually better. I am doing this review to tell people not to get the hot/spicy burrito, which I tried for the first time. It was very small for $12. I was very disappointed. Since it didn’t have side, I assumed it would be large, but I was wrong. Everyone else’s order was fine though. I’ll go back, but I’ll order something different.

11 months agoGot a to go order and my husband got the shrimp and scallop fajitas and got half way through his food and bit into glass. Called back up there and the manager was nice but tried to say it was possibly from the package the scallops come in or from a plastic vase that was knocked over and broken before our son even got the bags, it was 100% glass without a doubt. We love this restaurant and have never had any issues but trying to blame it on our 13 year old is not the right approach. Something happened in the kitchen and he might not be aware after investigating but we’re beyond disappointed and hoping he doesn’t get sick or end up having to go to the hospital.

a year agoI told my friend I wanted Mexican for dinner and she took me here. And I am so happy she did, the service was great, the food amazing. I have eaten at a few Mexican restaurants in Tuscaloosa and Northport and in my opinion, Dos Amigos has been the best, from the chips to the margaritas to my fajitas. Let’s talk about the margaritas, best I’ve had at a Mexican restaurant so far.

a year agoReally enjoyed eating here. We had shrimp tacos and the choose 2 dinner. Good was great and nice atmosphere and good service. Will be back!
