Small town diner at its best..Food is prepared to order...comfort food.. .a favorite for breakfast and lunch.... we have enjoyed everything we have ordered here. The daily specials are alwsys a treat also.
It seems the staff is primarily located in the back area. However, we did not receive any attention, and no one took our order or gave us menus. I did not get my side salad, and the plate was not provided. I had to get up to get the plate and silverware. Additionally, we had to ask for refills on our drinks, and my order of the chicken strip basket was not satisfactory. The chicken was overcooked, rubbery, and hard to bite into, with the breading disintegrating when lifted.
The food was great! All meals included a drink! The service by Dede was excellent! They also have free beans and cornbread with every entree! It's back by the salad bar. I got an entree with a side salad and grilled veggies. They brought me a bowl and you go get whatever you want from the salad bar! We will be back for sure!
