Home town favorite. Glad they didn't go out of business. Biggest cheese steak around. Worth every $
We went here based on reviews. Not at all as good as stated. My parents and my kids ordered at the same time. They received their food and were almost done by the time I got my food. Which was nothing but cheese sticks, chicken tenders and a cheeseburger. The cheeseburger was ok. The cheese sticks my wife had were good. But my daughters tasted off. Like really off. We didn’t realize until we went to our next location that my wife looked at the cheese sticks and said that they were completely raw and not cooked. So in closing, the service was extremely slow, the food was not great. I love to support small shops but disappointed. Prices are up there a regular sub is 14 bucks. It’s big but eh.
My cheesecake was served within minutes, we were rhe only customers on the premises. I believe the meat had been precooked as it was barely warm and the cheese never melted. It tasted fine and was full of meat. It just wasn't hot! I'm guessing they used pre-made meat and just scooped it from a pan or threw it on the grill top to reheat it. If it had been hot, I would've enjoyed it.
