Call before you arrive- this location had over 15 seniors standing outside waiting for the establishment to open alwhile it was closed. I Lyft there and saw everyone outside. This is the best soul food you’ll eat! However call BEFORE YOU GO.
First time visiting! Baked Chicken, mac n cheese, and sweet potatoes with a corn muffin. Sweet potatoes had a bit too much spice for my liking. Other than that food was hot and flavorful. "I'll be back" -The Terminator
My first time here. Went on a Sunday and got lucky that it wasnt crowded. I walked in and the first thing I noticed was the AC was NOT working. I got the short ribs, mac n cheese, sweet potatoes, greens, hot water cornbread, and peach cobbler. Only the ribs and cobbler were good. The greens had no seasoning or meat and were mushy. The sweet potatoes had way too much cinnamon and nutmeg, the mac n cheese was creamy but not cheesy, and the cornbread tasted old. I was hoping I had found a new soul food go to spot but the quest continues.
