What a great place to stop and have lunch. We had a drone project a couple miles down the road, and decided to grab lunch, and glad we did, we all got burgers and not one complaint, My girlfriend got a milk shake to go, it was one of the best milkshakes we've had in a long time. Definitely recommend have a meal here, nice little diner feel and food. We will definitely be back if we are in that area again.
Friendly servers and owner, BREAKFAST IS WHERE IT'S AT, THEIR HOMEMADE PANCAKES ARE AUH-MAZING!!!!!! Normally, I can only eat about 6 bites of pancakes, but DOWN HOME PANCAKES!!!!! I CAN EAT 3 WHOLE, HUGE, WARM, BUTTERY, SYRUPY, LIGHT & FLUFFY PANCAKES! Idk what it is...but, Good Lord Almighty had something to do with whoever it was to come up with this recipe!!!! Pretty decent lunch & dinner (semi homemade food). NOW I WANT PANCAKES 🥞🥞🥞🤫
This place was exactly as the name implies... downhome. It is a little downhome restaurant with really good home cooked food. I've only had the breakfast, but their gravy and biscuits tasted exactly like my grandmother's tasted. And she passed away about 15 years ago, so i never thought I'd get to taste those gravy and biscuits again. So that was definitely a nice surprise. The place was quiet, clean, and the waitress was sweet as she could be. I will be paying this place another visit.
