Dr. Mascarenhas has been my cardiologist for a quarter of a century. He knows me and my health history. He knows me well enough to know that when I notified him of very infrequent episodes of slight chest discomfort, (once every 3 or 4 days for about 5 to 10 minutes) something was seriously wrong. He immediately prescibed medication, advised me of my next move and made phone calls on my behalf to have me treated. A couple of days later, I received a stent to eliminate a 95% blockage in my left anterior descending artery. Because I am still quite physically active, there is no doubt in my mind that without Dr. Dan’s intervention, I would have suffered a serious heart attack. I credit him with saving my life.
Dr was 25 minutes late for my appointment. He couldn't get his computer/internet turned on. Had to call out to his receptionist for help. He didn't ask any major health questions or concerns. I personally wasted my time going there. Also it was a warm day & no air conditioning on. I would NOT RECOMMEND HIM !!
Patient care has been friendly within our family since 2005. Where feeling safe is golden.
