I am truly grateful to Dr. Kumar for the exceptional care she provided. From the very first appointment, she made me feel heard, respected, and genuinely cared for. She took the time to carefully listen to my concerns, explained everything in simple terms, and never made me feel rushed. Her kindness and compassion stood out just as much as her expertise. Dr. Kumar has such a calm and reassuring presence that immediately puts you at ease, especially during stressful heart-related concerns. I felt completely confident in her care and appreciated how personally invested she was in my overall health and well-being. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for not just a skilled cardiologist, but a truly caring and dedicated doctor.
I went to this doctor for my postpartum clampsia. This doctor told me “ you need to stop eating” and that “starving “ wouldn’t be bad to lose weight. Her and her father also did a carotid artery ultrasound and stated I had plaque . I took the results to an interventional radiologist and they confirmed I had no plaque. She caused me so much anxiety and stress and misdiagnosed me. She rushed every appointment and did not give me any helpful advice. Do not go to her .
My first visit with her was great, she seemed caring and knowledgeable. My recent second visit was rushed and she was not focused. She handed me print outs of test results but did not take any time to go over everything and explain the results. Very rushed, over booked. She changed one of my medications and when I asked what are the side effects, she said no side effects?? There are always side effects. I found that the medication should not be taken with a medication I'm currently on. She should know that.
