Yuuuuuup! Best damn food round here, cannot beat the prices either. Everything good, I had a taste of the brisket, I myself ordered a fish platter with greens and Mac, and best plate I've had from round here. So glad we have such a good spot so close to home.
What an amazing spot! I tried the collared green gumbo with cornbread and it came loaded with meat, pleasantly spiced, and made to order! I was ecstatic when I ordered and the grill started firing instead of a 2 second exchange of ladle to bowl. Can't wait to try their tacos and the rest of the soul food offered, all in an area of town that's been devoid of food options. The outdoor seating is well set with a backdrop of oaks and palms, service was warm and efficient, and the food is perfectly priced so that locals are getting fresh, homemade quality instead of tourist slop for the same dime. Next time I'll get a picture, it was gone too fast ❤️
