Amazing burger, perfect flavors, fresh patty and crispy fries..10/10
A great place to grab a quick bite to eat or a drink before your flight. They open early so breakfast is no problem. Lunch is always good to have before a long flight and lots to choose from. The back side of the Resturant overlooks the east runway to see planes land and take off. One unique feature is ability to order via Uber Eats. Saves time and allows you to have a nice to-go container to take on your flight.
I stopped in at Ducky's at the Tampa International Airport before flying home to Boston. I ordered the Grouper Sandwich grilled with a Caesar's Salad. My 4 star rating on the food was due to the slight fish smell of the Grouper. The sandwich tasted good however. I should have asked to put the tartar sauce on the side. I would have liked to apply it myself. I also pulled some of the lettuce out of the sandwich. The service was spot on. I ordered a glass of Pinot and a water. My water was filled without me having to ask. I will come back to Ducky's the next time I am flying out of Gate A. I would say excellent service has kept me returning over the food knocking my socks off. With that said, I enjoyed my meal.
For the airport, I am so surprised... in a good way! The food was hot, fresh and homemade. If tater tots had a crunch that could win an award, these would win! The waitress was super nice, quick service, and friendly. Ok.. maybe I'm just extra hungry this morning. But it was still FANTASTIC 😋
With a flight delay, I was able to grab breakfast at Ducky's at Tampa International Airport. I love the gluten free options like deviled eggs. And a great coffee. I love the open accessible seating at tables and high tops at the bar. Great service today starting at 7am. Accessible venue, except high tops at bar, with a view of the airport outdoors. Accessible men's, women's, and family restrooms with grab bars and 5ft x 5ft area in central airport area with
The sunny side up eggs came out perfect. The toast and the tater tots were better than I thought. The bacon was soggy. The sausage was okay. The coffee was meh. It's not a bad diner breakfast food for the airport. The check came out with the food, but it was hard to get a hold of the waitress to pay the bill after the food came out as she was the only waitress.
Airport restaurant. Decent food. Crappy service. If you expect care and consideration from your server, go elsewhere. The young lady took my order. Someone else dropped my food in front of me and scrambled away. Need butter? Want a refill of your drink? Don’t bother, as the servers ignore you once you have your food. If you have a flight to catch, start flagging someone down for your check about halfway through your meal. It’ll take them that long to bring the little machine to pay your tab. Bottom line. Decent food, for airport food. Service is miserable. No smiles, absent for most of the experience. But still stand over you and make a point to show you how to enter the tip. Sadly, I’ll be back because I fly a lot and this is the only game in town.
Found this restaurant close to our gate while our flight was delayed. Three of us ordered during Lunch Time. Service was good. One ordered the chicken fingers. Not the best and I’m sure previously frozen and flat type not like a traditional chicken tender. The fries were the best tasting for that meal. Other meal was a plant based burger(vegan) with upgraded side salad. The salad was the best tasting with this meal as the burger was bland with no flavor. Last but not least I had a Cuban Wrap. Well my meal was icing on the cake!!! Best tasting Cuban I have had in a long time. For it to be here at the airport I was surprised! 10/10 would definitely recommend this! Very well priced compared to the other two meals that was ordered. Mine was the cheapest and the best out of the three!
