See All ReviewsWhat a wonderful place! You order 1st, then, find a seat, but while you're waiting I recommend exploring their memories. They have newspapers, photos, and various items from the 40s and a family tree going back to the late 1800s. Duke was there taking our order and he is such a pleasant individual. The food is fantastic and flavorful. I ordered the baked potato with brisket and their unique thing is that they make it so every inch of the potatoe is filled with yummy flavors of the brisket, melted cheese, green onions, and sour cream. Simple yet absolutely satisfying- it's an entire meal!
After many years of living in the area, I just found Dukes. The atmosphere is very homey, a lot of history displayed throughout the restaurant and the scent of smoked bbq will make you want more. The food is delicious. I had the ribs, sausage, beans and potato salad. Ribs are meaty and tender and the bbq sauce is delicious. We also had the nachos with Brisket and sausage. Very delicious. The thing I like the most was Mr. Cleveland. He makes you feel welcome and appreciated. There are other Bbq places in Cleveland but this one is now my favorite.
This 36 years old BBQ offers great food with nostalgic experience. With laminated old newspaper front page showing articles of MLK... Houston Oilers... Duke's older menu prices... and a collection of interesting thought provoking posts... Their geography of Great places includes Mallorca & few other Islands showing distances from paradise is very creative. Very friendly staff serving great food, not so fast. Italian cream was a great ending to the magnificent Texas style proteins. Highly recommended.
