Despite the name, this restaurant has more than dumplings, and they have fewer dumpling types that I had expected. The food is good, but not great, but the restaurant is clean and a nice place to hang out. The secret sauce healthy fungus is probably my favorite dish here. They have another dish called celery peanuts, that is pretty self-explanatory. I have never had it, but I’m so curious. Unlike a lot of Asian restaurants, their menu is not so big that it takes an hour to go through and decide. I prefer this.
Haven’t been to this place for a long time. Good surprise tonight. There is a big improvement since last time I dined here. The chive egg dumplings are juicy flavorful and look very appealing . Roujiamo( Chinese hamburger) is pretty good with crispy crust and juicy meat filling. I chose to not add jalapeño. Lamb radish stew tastes good and healthy .
Love this place, probably one of the very few best handmade dumplings in Austin. Every time we come here, we always order dumpling to go . BTW, they added new menu: crispy RouGaMo which is marinated meat in crispy bun. It’s 5 star taste! The vegan dumplings are super delicious too! Highly recommended!
