With my dad admitted to hospital and my mom at his bedside, this lost son needed to find a comfort meal in Brandon. Enter the Eastside Eatery which I heard about on a reddit thread "Where to get a Fatboy in Brandon?" Answer: You can't. But Eastside Eatery makes a good burger. The menu had this Hamburger Steak platter on offer and the novelty plus gravy pulled me in. Delicious! The vibe was rock'n'roll classic Brandon with the music playing and artwork on the walls. Good times!
We placed a larger order for our team with a variety of meals, and the food itself was excellent and very well received by our staff. However, one soup was missing from the order, there was no sour cream or salsa provided for the quesadillas, no tartar sauce for the fish, and the gravy we ordered did not arrive. When we called to inform the restaurant, we were met with a dismissive “nothing I can do about it” response instead of an apology or an attempt to resolve the issue. For orders of this size, accuracy and responsive customer service are very important to us. We would be happy to order again in the future if order completeness and follow‑up on concerns can be improved.
Food was spot on ! The patty melt had excellent flavor and the garlic toast that held the patty was a nice touch , home fries were nice and crispy they didn't need help stay stiff :P. My boys had the kids ckn finger and they were also very well done. Server was a friend young girl who was very helpful while ordering . Best part about the server is she didn't sit around on her phone . She was wiping tables that were already clean , filling sugars ect. It was really nice a person that just keeps busy and was always finding something to do.
Went for supper tonight. Service was awesome! Waitress was amazing, didnt catch her name unfortunately. Food was absolutely delicious 😋 Got a Santa fe chicken sandwich and home fries with gravy 😋 will order again
The best food in Brandon. Got the Monte Cristo with poutine and my girlfriend got the BLT with poutine. Some of the best poutine in Brandon.
This place might not look as fancy as some of those flashy restaurants, but the food easily beats them. Absolutely loved it — real flavours, no fake hype. Prices were reasonable too, which just makes it even better. Definitely worth a try instead of dropping money at some random fancy resto chain.
Local restaurant with incredible massive homemade meals at extremely reasonable prices. Truck stop atmosphere but wow, amazingly great food and wonderful staff. Lots of choices; salads, sandwiches, burgers, and a delicious homemade soup daily. Taco salad (pictured) is ridiculously massive. Their Sunday Brunch is crazy good. Double check it’s on during wedding season as they are so busy they have to put a hold on brunch for those months. Daily special can be found on their FB page each morning. Most of their specials are not on regular menu. Food pictures are daily specials and everything you see in the picture is included for $16.95. Where else can get that amount of homemade food with a canned drink and piece of pie for $16.95?! It never disappoints and well worth the drive to east end of Richmond Ave.
After going there for the first time a couple of months ago, Eastside Eatery has quickly become one of my favourites in town. Specials are posted daily on their Facebook page and only $16.95, including a beverage and slice of pie. I strongly recommend Eastside's Mac Burger, which seems to be the special every Friday, and home fries with Greek seasoning. The food comes out quick, is absolutely delicious, and the quality is consistent.
