We were really hungry, looking for a place and had gone for wings which were closed and trying to find a restaurant with a Chan Tappan this one. We were informed that there was only one dish should be had and it was beef stew with bread. We waited a little bit and tried the beer which was really yummy in terms of a lager and then eventually a meal came with a beautiful salad and avocado, and it was delicious really spicy and really well cooked and tender beef cannot wait to go back. The reason for not giving the atmosphere. Star is we were the only one in the restaurant and it was tucked away, but I must say the service was stellar.
Delicious succulent food with amazing aroma, great service and friendly staff. Absolutely loved the food.
I had a great experience at the Eritrean 🇪🇷Community Centre restaurant. The décor is well done, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The veggie platter was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. I also loved the beer and wine selection—great choices all around! The service was top-notch, and the food was delicious. Thumbs up! I’ll definitely be back.🇪🇷
They serve really delicious Eritrean Cuisine.
Delicious, very similar to Ethiopian food. Inexpensive.
It is Eritrean cultural civic center best cultural food and best service
This is a great place that is a bit intimidating to enter. There are few DC restaurants that are cheap and delicious - this is one of them.
From the outside this place does not look inviting but as soon as you walk in the staff treats you like you were also Eritrean. When not if you go try the veggie platter. for $11 you can feed 3 people easily. And they make there own Injera bread there. If you have ever had Ethiopian food then you will love this place.
