See All ReviewsConflicted here, food was awesome, but service was terrible. Took a drink order and nothing came for 20 minutes, and my wife's drink never even came. We got our food, it was great. Then waiter brought some water. At checkout, you pay for food separate than drinks so that took a while. Very strange. Worst of all, waiter didn't apologize for not bringing my wife's drink, but he did apologize to me. Wife was clearly offended. Not sure how to put it all together but good food, horrible service. Also, doors were open so it was freezing. Probably wouldn't go back. But would get take out.
The server treated me poorly. We ordered Peruvian food and drinks. The food arrived but the drinks did not, so we asked about the drinks. Eventually, Someone gave my husband his beer, but my drink never came. I mentioned that the drink did not come when I paid the bill. The server did not apologize or say anything polite or nice to me. I really did not complain or say anything negative. Then, when we paid for my husband’s beer(alcohol on a separate tab than food here) that same server looked my husband in the eye, apologized for my drink not coming to my husband without looking at me at all. At that point, I no longer cared about the drink because I was too busy feeling invisible. The next time I want someone to forget my order and apologize to my husband while ignoring me, I know where to go.
The whole concept is confusing. This place is way too small to have 3 different culinary counters. They got to stick to only 1-2 and maybe it will work. I get what they are going for, but this is not it. Now I tried all of their foods a while back. Havana gyro: I dont think these people know what they are doing. There was this chick sitting in the corner vaping all relaxed while the others were on their phones. I wont even mention the food. Casa nori: I can get better sushi for half of the price literally anywhere else. Alpa peruvian: the only thing saving this place and the only reason im giving 3 stars. The waiter was so sweet and welcoming while all the others were just standing by on the sidelines. Didn’t even help him clean or anything. The food, best peruvian place we’ve eaten in a long time! In short, peruvian yes and the rest no. Whoever owns it needs to figure out what to do with it. Looks like a mess and its extremely confusing.
