5 months agoThe food here was terrible. I never do this but my 1st and only experience here was awful. The portions are not worth the price, the 4 little shrimps I got were way over cooked and the vegetables were not cooked enough, and the rice tasted like card board. I know its new but come on guys get it together!!!

6 months agoThe ramen is fast food level, nothing fancy. I didn't like ordering in and getting the broth separated from the noodles. It tasted bland. Good for something fast food related

7 months agoGood food, great service. We got the 2 for $25 bento box, it was a good portion of food once you consider the sides and rice. The chicken rice ball was fun, I've always wanted to try one.

10 months agoMaybe they paid for the reviews, but the food is just bland and bad and their service was super slow and terrible. For onigiri, literally just straight bland rice with ingredients and yakitori had no flavor. The guy at the counter was very rude and he couldn't even tell what is on the menu and 0 interest in helping customers. We waited a while for our menu although we didn't really order much. And I didn't expext much on atmosphere, but come on - if you are going to open up a restaurant, invest just few more dollars and do better than some cheap wrinkly Japanese drapes.. Save yourself sometime and just go to other places like Kuma moon or Hefun.

10 months agoI visited Edo Ya and tried the Bento Box in the “Uma” size, which comes with two proteins, a base, a side of vegetables, and three different sauces. I chose Yaki Soba as my base, with Hibachi Steak and Tonkatsu as my proteins. Overall, everything was delicious and very filling. I particularly enjoyed the Tonkatsu (fried pork) crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The Yaki Soba had soft noodles with a unique, savory flavor that I really liked. Note: They seem to be in a soft launch, so expect some delays in food serving.

10 months agoVery yummy, good portions. The wait staff were all very friendly. I got the beef gyoza and the build your own bento, which is the staple of the restaurant. The chicken was very good! Decent location too. I will be coming back!!

10 months agoSeems like that are having trouble getting food out. We are a family of 4 and we waited 50 minutes. I went and asked about our order, and most of the food was sitting there getting cold. Food was good, but would have been much better hot.

10 months agoWe live around the corner so we were thrilled this place opened. Then we saw the prices and got even more excited. We decided to order several things each to try and we weren’t disappointed. The lamb skewers were well seasoned and, while they initially looked dry, were plenty moist. The bento box was huge and tasty. The zucchini was a bit mushy, but being that it’s only their second day of being open, I would chalk that up to typical opening issues. The steak was tender, the scallops delicious. Seriously it is really hard to find good sea scallops that you can grab through a drive thru. The miso was great, no clear broth pretending to be miso. The karaage on its own was bland, but with the sweet sauce it came with, it was delicious. The oyakodon was decent but maybe a bit bland. That being said we had a few sauces that we weren’t entirely sure where they belonged, so that’s probably on us. The teriyaki chicken was delicious and tender and flavorful. Be aware that our entrees didn’t come with rice, so if that’s important to you be sure to order a side. I would say the beef curry was the standout. Absolutely delicious and very large portions. As a side note the drinks we tried are good too. No balance issues between water and syrup, just right. I would love if they added more sushi options and sweet tea in the future, but really we have no complaints. All in all the food was good, prices even better and we plan on eating here often!
