Came to Eight Jane to try their popular jianbing, a Chinese crepe made of mung beans with egg and a crispy cracker inside. Slightly disappointed since it had an odd sweet flavor? But also tried their (surprisingly) less popular rou jia mo or Chinese hamburger — so flavorful, a dense shaobing with soft braised pork inside. Devoured before I could even take a photo haha! Will be back for the hamburger for sure!

Authentic Tianjin Pancake. Crispy and delicious. We also ordered the sesame beef cake, it could be better if the cake is hot.
