Me and my wife stopped here to see what the food was about I got the combo plate for $9.00 it was a enchilada a super burrito and a tamale and my wife had the 5 mini tacos my plate was good but its something you should order for an appetizer the portions were so small it was like a snack but I guess for 9.00 I got what I paid for the tamale was room temperature close to cold and my wife was just all the way up set
We stopped here after a high school graduation and it was packed. We didn't think we'd get to eat but the staff ensured we had a place to sit and despite how busy they were they were incredibly efficient. We ordered promptly and received our food made to order and it was great. The atmosphere was great considering how busy they were. The staff was fantastic. I would highly recommend El Agave to anyone looking for great Mexican food.
We rolled through the drive thru on the way home from Boerne and went full fat kid. Two tostadas and the #5 (cheese enchiladas and a puffy taco). We tossed in a limonada for good measure. The food was great, hot, flavorful, and fresh. Prices were amazing $30. Limonada was on point. The gent that helped us was super kind and very polite. It's our new stop when we roll through and we are hungry.
