My hubby and I stumbled upon this place and we couldn't be more impressed! We ordered the chips and salsa, guac, shrimp in sauce, steak tacos, chocolate cake with ice cream and goats milk salted caramel crepes. Every item is SPECTACULARLY prepared and just divine in flavor and execution. All her ingredients are no doubt fresh and premium selection and the Chefs attention to each and every detail is undeniable. The salsa was so good, we ordered a pint to take home. My husband is Mexican, spent summers in Mexico cooking with his grandma, and he looked at me and said "Ive never had food like this. I want to keep coming back and try everything on the menu." My tacos clearly had fresh made tortillas and the steak just melted in my mouth. The desserts were phenomenal. The chocolate cake is so soft and delicate and the presentation is outstanding. I genuinely do not like crepes, had them once in my life and was never interested again, and THESE, oh they changed me forever. If you've never had caramel made from goats milk, YOU NEED TO NOW AND ONLY FROM HERE! absolutely exquisite experience and we will certainly be back for more ASAP! The staff is as warm and accommodating as you could hope for, so attentive and inviting. We spoke with the chef personally and her daughter (who was our waitress) and they are just the most delightful human beings. Please check it out and tell your friends. I want to emphasize that the service was impeccable, everyone on the staff was kind and attentive. For it being Valentine’s Day, I am so impressed at how well it was run on one of the busiest nights of the year and there being afull house. The food, unfortunately, was not great. The queso fundido was probably the best of the four things we ordered. I truly wanted to like this place, but the esquites were watery and didn’t seem to have mayo, the mole chicken enchiladas ordered(the rojo and negro) were without spiciness and true, fresh zing. It was also room temperature, when mole is best warm. It’s hard to explain, but maybe the choice of chicken enchiladas with mole did not blend well into one dish. The drinks were phenomenal, but it was mostly ice. We opted for mango/passionfruit/pineapple cocktails without alcohol(mocktails - $12) but for being comprised of what I’m guessing is just juice, $12 is a lot. Take this with a grain of sugar as I’m no mole expert, but it lacks that homemade feel.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the burbs. Definitely authentic Mexican. The mole sauces are delicious!! Make sure to try one!! My daughter doesn’t like cilantro and the chef made her a pico de gallo without cilantro without even asking for it. Talk about amazing service!! The margaritas are delicious. I had the passion fruit one. Definitely check out this gem !! Everything is made fresh!!
