The best Mexican food in Jax. One thing I order all the time - is the beef soup. Very rich and healthy.
I have to say, this was some of the best Mexican food that i've ever had! Everything is made fresh, from the red salsa to the salsa verde! The waitress was polite and efficient. I had 1 chicken tamale, 2 carnitas tacos and 1 chorizo taco with a side of rice and beans...Sooooo tasty! 5/5 food 5/5 atmosphere 5/5 service. Check out the market next store as well for authentic latin american flavors!
Truly one of my favorite spots around. I loved it before I moved and I love it more now that we’re back. We have been gone from Jacksonville for a year now and when we moved back El Castillo was going to be the first place I came back to. I can safely say, after a year the food quality and taste have not changed. This is truly one of the most consistent restaurants around and I couldn’t ask for more. We tried many places when we were living out of state but nothing compared to El Castillo. I’m so happy to be back and get to enjoy this place once again. The staff are always so friendly and I am ecstatic to see how much they have grown. They’re getting the recognition they deserve!
