See All ReviewsRead through the Google review and decided to give this place a try. There is no menu, and the lady who greeted me first doesn't speak English. I am already loving this place, expecting some homemade delicious food. I ordered a brisket tortas and ask the 2nd lady who greeted me who speakes English for recommendations. She said something and I was like, sure! I didn't know whY I actually order when I ordered it. Turns out, the food were amazing!!!!!! The brisket tortas, the bread is buttery, not one of the soft ones I typically like but sooooooo flavorful. The texture of the bread is good too, but if you expected the soft one, that's not the kind, but still very delicious. The brisket is juicy and flavorful. Overall it is delicious. But ... The taco which I later found out, alambre taco plates, is super delicious!!! It is so flavorful with layers of complex flavors and texture. The Mexican rice is moist and season really well. Adding the sauce they provided, it is unforgettably delicious. I regret not to get more ... If I am ever in town again, will definitely come back!
What a gem!!! Some of the absolutely best tacos and plates I've ever had. The owners were super accommodating, kind, friendly, and welcoming. I live in Houston and we're visiting Terlingua and drove into Presidio. The hour and a half drive from terlingua is absolutely worth it! Congrats to Pepe and his wife for 15 years of great food and service.
We were driving through Presidio and saw this place and had to stop. We got the tacos al pastor and man were they phenomenal! So fresh and delish! Must try this place!
