I avoid gluten and my sister encouraged us to come for pupusas. She did her best to speak with the cooks ensuring that they use only masa (which is appropriately authentic) with no wheat. The result tastes like corn only, but they are so much more than that! Piping hot, we got one order of bean and cheese and one with cheese and veggies. The sauce was delicious, perfectly paired with both flavors of pupusas and was the perfect amount. The veggie side was delightfully fresh. Absolutely loved every bit of it!!
