a month agoI wanted to give this place a chance but the lady seemed like she hated her life. She did not smile, and did not look like she wanted to be there. When I went to order, I was just waiting there while she and the cashier we chatting. After a while I asked to pay, they looked at me, and then continued to converse with each other. Horrible customer service. Go to Emilio’s up the street for an overall better experience and food.

3 months agoGreat place for a delicious Caribbean meal. The area is very accessible on 611 and has ample parking. The restaurant itself is small but inviting whether to eat there or to go. The food is on display ready to serve or they prepare from the menu. The food itself is very well made and affordable. The staff is very friendly and professional. They speak both English and Spanish. Highly recommended!

4 months agoGreat traditional dominican cuisine. Great flavor and perfect textures. I would for sure recommend the octopus salad (pulpo), pernil (roast pork) and baked chicken. Such a clean and welcoming atmosphere. And the service was impeccable. We will definitely be returning.

5 months agoAs a latino this is a poor excuse of a chicharron. I ordered door dash and my order was wrong. Beef stew is good and so is the papa rellena but I wouldn't know today cause they weren't in my order

4 years agoFirst time here. The reviews are right! This food is really good and the service is friendly and fast. I had the special rice and ½ chicken and my friend had the same. She also got tres leches cake and said she loved it. BYOB is ok. I'll be back that's for sure. Just like my favorite Cuchi Fritos place in the BX. I saw many people come in for takeout orders.

4 years agoTheir customer service is amazing! Accidentally called the place and they informed us very beautifully and kindly about their restaurant! - All their meats were very soft and flavorful! We love the meat stews and rice! My friend was happy that it tasted like the chicken stew she wanted! I loved the potatoes in the beef stew - Flan has very subtle taste to it that we enjoyed! - Passionfruit drink is delicious but very sweet (which was fine for me, but not for someone who needs to be careful about sugar!) - The fried dish was also yummy! The portion and quality of the dishes were great for the price also! Excited to come back to try different foods! Highly recommend to check this place out! ☺️
