So im from Texas we all mexican food, we asked about Pollo con arroz the response from the waitress was we only sell authentic Mexican food straight from Mexico, listen now arroz con Pollo is mexican food 5his place felt like mexican was raised in it but I must be north mexican, the rice looked like the rice coming from rice In a bag from Walmart. Didn t taste like home cooked rice with real consume and consume in spanish is a aeasoning if u dont know. Try another place if u want mexican authentic food I have yet to try the others but el Dorado is not el Dorado. It's just a name. Not pleased with how the experience went nor with the response of the question for arroz con Pollo. And the other guy on the review is also correct they dont have home made salsa this place needs to learn from other mexican restaurants. And remove authentic from its name.
If you want excellent and authentic Mexican, this is the place for you. Atmosphere is basic but you’re coming for the fine food if you come here. I recommend the r street tacos—amazing! Super fast service too and affordable!
Love the diner. Been going to their food truck in Fremont for yrs. Finally got a chance to make the drive to Fostoria and try their diner. Let me just say we were not disappointed. Large portions, fresh and hot, quick service, and most importantly very friendly stagg and inviting atmosphere. Wife got the wet burrito which was huge and I got some breakfast items that were amazing. 10/10 would recommend. We will definitely be going back.
Some of the best al pastor tacos I have ever had, highly recommend. Also, a nice family run business to support
Disappointed.. Growing up in California, I was hoping for good Mexican food. These corn tortillas were soggy and crumbly, chips were overcooked, and food lacked flavor. I also was not given an option for spicy salsa. For $11, it was not a good deal.
Welcoming! Very quaint restaurant. The food was fine although the meat was slightly dry. My omelette was good and I enjoyed it with the hash browns. I would have preferred a pepperjack cheese and a different bread for toast but what I got was still acceptable. I would go back!
Awesome hosts very friendly. Great food and the horchata is delicious .
After running a community POLL on Facebook, 99% of customer feedback about El Dorado has been positive. Customers love the quality of the authentic Mexican food. This is definitely a hidden gem in Fostoria!
