8 years agoFood tasted good but service was awful. Asked for cafe con leche and was served lukewarm, nasty coffee. We were the only people there and waited 40 min for our bill while the waitress sat right in front of us feeding a baby. Dissapointing.

8 years agoI read these reviews. Im trying to figure out how there so bad. This place is amazing i love the food has great flavor never been to greasy rice is always fresh and never smelt a foul odor here before!

8 years agoUnflavored food and this place need immediately atencion in cleanses, rice and bean need more spicies or better sofrito(desabrido) and the yellow plantains need to be to cook better and be more maduros. The pinchos or kabots was better then rice and bean, need to offer coffe for enjoy the place. And definitely need a renovation inside. Better decoration, to represent our beautiful Puerto Rico.

8 years agoHorrible service! Food used to be amazing but after today's experience I'll never be back again! Food tasted spoiled & our waitress had no clue what she was doing. Waited took forever to be attend to us since waitress was busy with boyfriend then seemed to be bothered to even attend to us. Once food arrived she repeatedly left for smoke breaks bringing in the stench back in with her. The food was nothing like before and tasted like it had been reheated to death not to mention again SPOILED! Very upsetting to see a once favorite place reduced to an establishment who serves spoiled chicken that is called "Puerto Rican cuisine".

8 years agoShould be zero stars!! Worst experience ever. First off there was bugs all over the tables. Should have been the red flag to leave. Since the food had always been amazing, we gave it another chance and moved to another table. At this point we still haven't been greeted by the waitress. Once we placed the order, waitress kept stepping off for a smoke break and conversing with her boyfriend. The food finally arrived along with a horrible stench. Rice tasted like it was stored in the fridge for days and was finally reheated. Chicken smelled spoiled and was covered with onion and seasoning to disguise the stench. Needless to say, we left right away. All good things come to an end. My family and I won't be returning.

8 years agoFood here is excellent, very authentic, flavorful and fresh. I had the steak mofungo (amazing and filling). Service is great as well and I will definitely be back. This restaurant is a big bonus to pasco!

8 years ago2nd time here. Both times there have been numerous things on the menu they don't have. Half the appetizers, mofungo octopus, etc. every time I ask about stuff they don't have they say come back on the weekend and we "might" have it. I'm sorry but don't put things on the menu if your not going to have them. We showed up on a Thursday at 630. Only people there and there were six of us. The owners said we close at 7. I said well it's 630 do you want us to leave? With an eye roll they said we could stay. They gave us menus and walked away. 20 minutes went by while they were texting on their phones before they came by to take our order. Food came out except for one meal which we waited 10 more minutes for. Finally got the last meal. The food is actually good but the attitude of the owners stinks. We waited forever after being done eating for the bill and even though they were 15 feet from us never came over. I then asked for the bill. The owner said ok and walked to the register. We sat there 5 more minutes until she finally said I need to run the card up here. She was so lazy she wouldn't even walk the bill to our table! She asked me to get up and come to her. You would think they would have been happy to have some customers since the place was empty. All we got was attitude and poor service. Stinks since the food was actually pretty good but I will never go back.

8 years agoMy partner and I went to eat there thus afternoon. She asked for Rice with red beans and Carne frita (fried pork) with tostones. The rice and beans where awful, the carne frita with tostones where good. Not to bad!! I asked for a tripleta,, which it came with onions, green peper, etc.. I asked ahead to please not to put any of that because I didn't like it. When they bring it I saw that and quickly ask if they can remake it.. they apologize and when they bring me my plate again, still have the onions and paper. I told the lady that works in there I didn't want it anymore that if she could please give me Carne frita with tostones to go... she said carne frita would take about 20mts to cook (I didn't have the time since I had an app. At 1p) I asked for pernil instead. My partner drove while I was eating in my car.. and out of the sudden I saw a dead spider in my pork. It's disgusting and unprofessional. I almost threw up. My experience today was awful and my partner and I would never stop there anymore. Was out first and last time. I think they should of have listen more to the customer,, and check the food before they send it out. Never happened to me before.. Y demás esta decir que pague 30 dllrse por nuestra comida para terminar con una araña en mi plato... Very bad experience!!! Feel very disappointed,, there are not that many restaurant that are Latino around here,, and it does upset me that this one has such a bad reputation and service.
