3 weeks agoFirst time trying this truck and it did not disappoint! Asada was great but the birria quesa-tacos were the highlight! Delicious flavor with tender meat. This is definitely our new go to spot for birria!!

2 months agoThe food is absolutely delicious, but the days and timing is off. It shows open on Sundays, but when you show up truck isn't there. Timing says open 4pm, but starting at 5. Food truck doesn't matter, you gotta be professional with times and days, not when you wanna open!

4 months agoAfter an evening hiking at the Fort Worth Nature Center & Refuge, I researched this taco truck and was impressed with it's rating and photos. The parking lot was a little tight but I was able to place an order of quesabirria tacos and a Mexican coke. I got my order in good timing and went to a park to eat. Birria was something I had no knowledge of prior to 2021. First time having them at a taqueria in Mesquite, I thought they were amazing! And since then I've been looking up taquerias all over DFW with high ratings and that serves birria and selecting one to go to about every weekend. Some were excellent, some good, and few not as quite. By late 2023, food trucks started popping up here and there, and I truly believe that the quality is way better. I'm glad to have came to Saginaw to try this one and would definitely return when I'm back in the area!

Edited 4 months agoHands down best TACOS 🔥 I have been looking for a GO-TO spot I feel like a lot of taco spots have been falling off 😢 BUT I finally found it and will be the ONLY place here on out. I didn’t see any out door seating, and my tacos did not make it home! 🥵 OH and BOTH the Red and Green Salsa were MAD GOOd, good spice kick, next time will be asking for more 🥵

5 months ago🌮 A Hidden Taco Gem in Saginaw (a very happy surprise!) I wasn’t even planning on discovering a new favorite taco spot today but Saginaw had other plans. I stopped by Mil Tacos, and let me just say… I was pleasantly surprised in the best way possible. From the moment we arrived, the staff and Marbella made the experience feel easy and welcoming friendly, patient, and genuinely happy to be there (which always sets the tone). You know when you can tell the people cooking actually care about what they’re serving? That was the vibe. Now the food 🔥 The tacos Al pastor, tamales, chips & queso were fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with intention - not rushed, not skimpy, and definitely not bland. Each bite had that “wait… this is really good” moment. The kind that makes you slow down mid-taco because your taste buds need a second to catch up. Don’t even get me started on the aguas frescas! This is one of those little taco trucks you’re so glad you stumbled upon, (the kind you immediately want to tell people about but also kind of want to keep to yourself). If you’re anywhere near Saginaw and craving legit street tacos with great energy behind the window, Mil Tacos is absolutely worth the stop. I’ll definitely be back… probably sooner than I should admit. 😄🌮

5 months agoSaginaw learn from my mistake. Slow down, don’t drive past this place, and don’t judge it by a quick glance. Tucked across from the Valero by the granary sits one of the best taco trucks you can stop at: El Mil Tacos, a true hidden gem hiding in plain sight. As an Army veteran, I’ve traveled across the country and around the world, and every once in a while you find food that takes you somewhere deeper than just a good meal. This is one of those places. The birria tacos took me straight back to my childhood to the memory of my very first taco. The meat was unbelievably tender, rich with flavor, the kind of bite that makes you pause without realizing it. My wife actually had to tell me I spaced out for a second. The consomé was bold and savory, full-bodied without being heavy, clearly made with time and intention. The rice and beans weren’t an afterthought they were comfort food done right. I also ordered the tamal de puerco rojo, and it was moist, tender, and deeply traditional the kind of tamal you don’t rush through. And the horchata? Clearly homemade. Smooth, balanced, and refreshing, without that waxy film you get from powdered shortcuts. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the people. The family working the truck was warm, welcoming, and genuine. It didn’t feel like ordering food it felt like reconnecting with old friends you hadn’t seen in years. I’m guilty of driving past this place more times than I’d like to admit. Knowing what I know now, I won’t make that mistake again. El Mil Tacos is both a hidden gem and a neighborhood staple, and it deserves to be known well beyond this corner of Saginaw. Do yourself a favor slow down, pull over, and eat here.

6 months agoBeen trying to find a new favorite taco spot since moving here from Illinois. We officially can say we found our new favorite taco spot near us. The barbacoa tacos were so flavorful and the hibiscus water was delicious. Will be our new weekly taco spot. Definitely give them a try if you are around!!

a year agoI’ve found my forever taco joint close to me. I only got the chicken and pastor but both were so flavorful and juicy. The green sauce is out of this world! The crusher service was great as well!
