2 months agoI found this lil spot for lunch the service was very welcoming. I ordered yellow rice with beans and stew chicken it was very flavorful. The only thing that I can say is they only serve yellow rice with pork in it so of u don't do pork get white rice and the chicken was somewhat light for my liking, but it was falling off the bone and they go to the back to make your food. Besides that I would go back to try other things it was a good experience!

3 months agoNo visible tables...cop & go..real good food..quick service..10 plus people in line ..15 minutes to service...67 bucks for three people...not bad...I RECOMMEND THIS PLACE..

5 months agoEl Morivivi is legendary. Born and raised on the East Side in the early 80s, I’ve been coming here for over 35 years. The undisputed king of frituras in all of Connecticut, not just Bridgeport.

10 months agoIt was our first time going to this restaurant, my husband saw it on instagram. We were in the area so we grabbed a few quick things to go to the beach. We got their empanadillas which is meat with cheese and alcapurrias (and one of yuca), it all tasted great. My husband also got chicken soup and he liked it. There is street parking and it is to order and go. The people were very nice and patient as we decided what we wanted. The food area looked clean and they were also cooking in the back, bringing fresh food to the front.

3 years agoPurchase 1 dozen pasteles, thought maybe some masa spilled in bag a bit, when I saw them frozen. But when I boiled them, the paper disintegrated.
