8 months agoWe LOVE eating breakfast at El Nopal.. especially Huevos rancheros! Eddie and Lorena are wonderful hosts. This restaurant has been in their family for generations.

a year agoi've been eating at el nopal for years always buying menudo every Saturdays but lately the menudo has changed if you eat inside it's fresh but threw the driveway it's not menudo it's menudo soup it's way over cooked or it's menudo that has been cooked the previous weekend it's trash. i gave them the chance to fix but they still give me bad menudo. Sorry el nopal i'm out estella's cafe here i come

a year agoThis place is okay might try something else next time. I asked what was the main dish to order for breakfast and they said the HUEVOS RANCHEROS. The sauce needs to be thicker it's more like clear or just so thin I didn't know it had any just knew it was on there because of the little onion and bell pepper or jalapeños. We asked for bacon, but the bacon was that thick ham looking stuff sounds good but no it was more fat then meat but the meat side was to tough. I've had it at other places and I guess it's cheaper, but shouldn't go the cheaper route because it leaves a bad taste and it's tough when it's a little cooler. The service is great nice lady. The coffee awesome, would give it another try but this time maybe the burritos or pancakes. Just maybe try the sauce you give for the chips for the ranchero sauce, it needs to be that thick.

a year agoI arrived at 7 AM for breakfast. Eddie is the owner and he greeted me nicely. Started my morning with a couple cups of coffee and then I ordered something that you must try! The breakfast enchilada! I added hamburger meat, cheese, side salad, extra red chili And a tortilla on the side it came with beans and potatoes. I have marked this in my favorites so I can be sure come here as I only visit one to two times a year. Fortunately, I will be here in two weeks and will be joining Eddie for breakfast again as well, thank you Eddie for a wonderful breakfast and thank your mom for cooking!

4 years agoWent through the drive thru and ordered a great breakfast burrito. Chorizo, beans, potato, and cheese! Eddie helped me with my order, He is the sweetest. Very awesome service, delicious food, and timely. Thank you Eddie so much. My family and I will be regulars when we visit Big Spring. 🙂

7 years agoIt was excellent. The breakfast was amazing. It's been a long time since I've had breakfast that good here in Big Spring. The service was great. Enjoyed the company of the owner and staff. Can't wait until the next time.

9 years agoI'm giving it two stars only because I was greeted warmly by three employees as I walked in the door. I was getting great strive until I sent back the chili con queso because it was like water. Then I didn't see my server again and had to ask someone else for my check. The salsa was good. They didn't have any lime or cilantro. The beef tacos were not very good.
