This is a wonderful laid back place to dine with family. Very comfortable setting and food is spectacular. Prices are very affordable.
Agua de piña and agua de melón were really good. Tasted homemade. Torta and tacos were amazing. Bread on the torta was nice and toasted. Their red salsa was my favorite. Location is small and easy to overlook but I’m coming back again.
The food was so so delicious they even cooked on like a tiny stove in front of you. It’s such a cute vibe but the food the food is actually so so good. They cook it with love.
This Mexican restaurant specializes in the traditional flavors of Tamaulipas, and it honestly brings back so many memories from home. The tortas de ternera are their specialty and they are incredibly good. The drinks are great, and the service is always warm and attentive. A place that truly feels like a taste of where I’m from.
Everyone here was very attentive, from our entrance staff was welcoming ! Food was delicious and every bite was filled with flavor from back home. I truly enjoyed eating here and will come back ❤️
A hidden gem wasn't expecting the flavors I encountered today. It really is a down to earth taste of Mexican plates. The Aguas frescas to the Mexican sodas everything was delicious. If Dallas was my hometown this would definitely be one of my favorites.
I ordered the chorizo breakfast tacos and was very disappointed after one bite. The chorizo was very tough and had a bad "rubber" texture to it. I paid $11 for 3 tacos and a lemonade...ok cool no problem. I called and spoke with the owners and explained to her that the meat was very tough and I did not like them AT ALL!! I even told her that I didn't want my money back I just simply wanted 3 chicken tacos in exchange. I have had them before and knew I couldn't go wrong with those. She first told me she couldn't do that then asked me to call her back. I knew there was a language barrier so I asked a co-worker of mine to call back and translate for me. She told him the same thing. She said she would get in trouble with the owners (which was her). She went back and forth with him about "the owners will not allow it" for a while. With that said, I just took that loss and customer satisfaction was not given at the restaurant. If you want to be treated fairly and rightfully as a customer this is not your place my Guy! Update: Thank you to Juan who reached out to me and was very kind and considerate about fixing the issue. When I went to pick up my order the cook even apologized several times.
I ordered two tortas. Every time I go it’s usually consistent and the portions are not rationed however this time was not the case. They also forgot my tortillas I was charged for 😐
