a month agoWas hungry for some street tacos so I stopped in there for the first time. They had a sign on the door saying we do carry out . I ordered three chorizo street tacos carryout it was $14.25. The tacos were all individually wrapped in aluminum foil so are my lines . And then the sauces were in the bag with them instead of using maybe a styrofoam container for everything. The food was not terrible but it wasn't great either. In Columbus I get three street tacos that are absolutely delicious for $10 and it comes with a grilled jalapeno radishes and a nice Styrofoam container for it all so I can eat them in my car without having aluminum foil leg on my lap. Too expensive and just not very good I expect more mexican restaurants

3 months agoFood is fantastic ! The service was not so great - had to wait quite a while for the food and the waiter was not very attentive - but I’ll still give 5 stars based on how delicious the food was!

7 months agoOrder to go. This time our food was greasy and cold. I have supported this business not even going to the other Mexican restaurants in town, ever since it opened. The last 4 times, they have forgotten my tortillas. I have always praised them above trying the others. Come onEl Palomar, you can do better.

8 months agoFood is excellent but it’s not a place to go for dinner unless you want in and out in a hurry. Speed of service is very good but they tend to rush you out the door as soon as you sit down.

3 years agorecently had the pleasure of dining at El Palomar and was blown away by their commitment to sustainability and water conservation. As a patron of the men's restroom, I was impressed to see a toilet with a dual flush option, allowing me to conserve water while still getting the job done. But the eco-friendly touches didn't stop there. The restaurant's use of locally sourced ingredients and their commitment to reducing waste through composting and recycling made my meal taste even better. But let's not forget about the food itself. From the sizzling fajitas to the flavorful tacos, every dish was a true masterpiece. The attentive staff made the dining experience even more enjoyable, ensuring that every need was met. Overall, El Palomar is a standout restaurant that not only serves delicious food but also cares about the environment. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience with a conscience. Five stars all around!
