Best pupusas in Houston, Came to try it out after getting recommended here from a friend who would come back in the early 2000s. Been coming here since February 2026 best place to have pupusas. I stop by every time I’m in town

They automatically charge a % gratuity. Without disclosing it hoping you don’t see it, and want you tip more if not they become rude. Food is average. The rich owners should lay their employees better.

The pupusas are good, but I do not appreciate that they add a gratuity charge. Plus a charge to use debit? I'm checking my receipts and the math ain't mathing. I think the sales tax is being messed with. Allegedly.
