5 years agoIt was okay, but not what I was hoping for. The place is small and seems like a hole-in-the-wall gem! Ladies were nice enough, though the awkward staring threw me off a bit. But the food just wasn't great. Ordered papusas. The pork was a shredded pork with no flavor and the Masa was corn based. Traditionally, it should be minced fried pork in a flour based dough. The salsa was bland but okay. The cabbage salad was very good! Very different from other places with the addition of red onion and jalapenos. I would probably try again for their other dishes but sad that a papuseria dropped the ball on papusas lol

Edited 5 years agoThe reason that im rating this place one star is because im extremely disappointed in the lack of customer service the waitress there on sunday because I dont know if shes there everyday Hopefully no because she does not know how to treat a customer and also they put her on the register to charge oh my goodness she can not do math she overcharged my mother and then when I confronted her she kept say that I was wrong when I asked for someone with experience she went to the back and just walked to the back and came right back out and said no one could help me. THAT HAS NEVER HAPPENED THE A OWNER OR MANAGER cant assist so a peaked my head in and told the lady who was making the pupusas then another lady came out I explained that my mother even gave her a good tip and she still overcharged guess she was trying to keep that to herself. 5 years agoEveryone here that are saying food is cheap is lying to keep it 100. The food taste great but the price is Highway robbery. I am from Miami where there's hundreds of Latin America Restaurants and I never paid has much as I did here. One praise I give them is pupusa are affordable. I will never come to this location ever again.

6 years agoI found this restaurant online. I am working on a cultural immersion project for school. The culture I chose to immerse myself in is El Salvador. I watched a documentary and every Salvadoran who was asked what one good they thought of when thinking about El Salvadoran foods was pupusas. I had to try them! I was not disappointed! Oh my goodness this restaurant is a mist go to place. I loved the food and the staff were so kind and caring. Please visit this restaurant. I know I’ll be coming back to try more foods and pupusas. 💞💕🌈🍽

6 years agoIt was good it was our first time there. I loved it it was homemade food obviously. I would and will go back again I had a chicken torta and my girl had two pupusas with cheese and jalapeños. O and two horchatas. But I again forgot to take pictures before I ate so I do apologise but I will update picture when we eat there again

6 years agoWe always like the pupusas here, the only down side is that I wish they had the option of curtido and salsa without picante (spicy), not all of us can eat picante, other than that, they meet my expectations food wise.

7 years agoHoles in the wall have the best food; period. They have a good variety of Honduran and Salvadorian food which is hard to find on the Treasure Coast. The location is a little confusing being that it shares a plaza with two Mexican restaurants so just know that it is the last local on the left side. Buen provecho!

8 years agoThe place was a bit tough to find since the sign for the previous restaurant (some taqueria) is still hanging outside. There is signage on the window though. It is a no frills location but the food was great. I had pupusas. They have some variations of pupusas I had not previously seen, like pupusas de calabaza or pupusas locas. I would totally come back. As of now it's cash only but the owner said they should start accepting credit cards in the next week or so. If you like to support local businesses and eat great food check them out.
