El Pulpo is usually good but after 10pm I think it's mostly to enjoy the bar. Took the family to eat and it was gross. The horchata was sour and the food was cold.
Kinda pricey, but definitely worth it 🤤
Waitress kept acting like she couldn't understand me and tended to the guys I was with while ignoring me. I even said FLAUTAS and she looked at the guys and asked "tenders?" Like I was a kid. I'm 46yrs old and the 2 guys I'm with are in their 50's. The flautas came with no salsa, she never refilled any salsa and I had to put our dirty dishes on another table cause she never came around for them. There were only 5 tables occupied at the most the whole time we were here so she was never busy. I was playing the jukebox and she said nothing about mariachis coming back in to play do after I put $14 in and played music, she walked over and unplugged the jukebox. I was pissed. The friends I was with go there a lot and said she's never acted like that but they've never had a woman with them. Also, they put tips on the check without any signs or telling you they're doing it and let you tip more if you don't pay attention. It's illegal to put tips on checks without posted signage notifying customers. Food was OKAY. Nothing special.
