See All ReviewsA Culinary Delight: Guatemalan Cuisine at the Farmer's Market. Embarking on a flavorful journey at the Guatemalan corner of the farmer's market was an experience that left my taste buds dancing with delight. From the moment you approach, the vibrant colors and inviting aromas lure you in, promising an authentic taste of Guatemalan culinary artistry. The menu offers a tantalizing array of traditional dishes, but it was their signature tostados that stole the show. Tostados Extravaganza: The star of the show was undeniably their signature tostados – a symphony of flavors and textures artfully stacked on crisp, golden tortillas. I opted for a variety to fully experience the range of their culinary prowess. The toppings were a harmonious blend of fresh ingredients, including diced avocado, zesty tomato salsa, succulent shredded chicken, and a drizzle of their house-made fiery hot sauce. What sets these tostados apart is the attention to detail. Each bite is a journey through layers of authentic Guatemalan flavors, from the crunch of the tostada to the creamy richness of the avocado and the bold kick of the salsa. The balance is impeccable, showcasing the chef's dedication to preserving the integrity of Guatemalan cuisine. Ambiance and Authenticity: Beyond the culinary delights, the Guatemalan corner offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere that mirrors the hospitality of Guatemala itself. The staff exudes passion for their cuisine, providing insights into the origin of each dish and making the entire experience feel like a cultural immersion. It's the perfect spot to gather with friends, savor exceptional food, and soak in the rich tapestry of Guatemalan culture. The tostados alone are worth the visit, offering a taste of Guatemala that's sure to linger in your memory. I left with a full stomach, a satisfied palate, and a newfound appreciation for the diverse flavors of this enchanting cuisine. ¡Delicioso!
Great food, and excellent service by Vivi.
We have been at this restaurant a few times and really like the food. Last Friday we had 2 meals and one drink and were told we had to pay $45. The price must have gone up enormously since 2 months ago we paid a lot less. The people around us didn't seem to pay that much for the food. There is no menu with prices so we don't know what the price was supposed to be. It felt as if we were charged more since we don't speak the language?? $20 for a meal feels outrageous and we will not be back again.
