See All ReviewsThis place is amazing. Super friendly ladies and the food was delicious. I ordered gorditas with pastor and they were stuffed full. Super fresh and flavorful. The salsa roja was also great, spicy but lots of flavor and depth. Verde was also very good but love a good roja. Very clean inside and out, bright, and tons of options. For anyone who is complaining about the wait…honestly great, authentic, homemade food takes more than 5 minutes and you can tell this is made from scratch. Worth the wait (which was not long at all) and definitely worth a trip back even though I’m not from this area.
I would give it a 3.5 stars because the good was made to order and took a minute. But the mole enchiladas were soooo bomb!! Will get them again. The 2 aguas watermelon and melon was good too!. But this place had flies in sitting area and have to take care of that. BIG turn off, also needs some music or something. Just tooo quiet in this spot. Ladies were friendly and food made with care. Also the tortillas are home made tooo!
I’ve been there several times because I really enjoy their food, but lately there’s been some inconsistencies in what used to be my favorite food which are the Tortas. They’ve been very salty, they put a lot of salt in the avocados or idk where it comes from but you can feel the grains of salt in your teeth when chewing it. And today what made me come leave my review was that the tomatoes in my meal were rotten, as you can see in the picture. I’m pretty sure it was a mistake, probably they didn’t notice before cuting it. The food is (or used to be) so good that it’s so sad that details like this ones are making the quality go down and us not wanting to go back. Hope they put more attention into those details…
